This is our fourth transaction with Karol - she helped us find our perfect Keys home when we moved here 12 years ago and then helped us secure some related properties.
She knows the market, listens to client needs and priorities, is a great communicator and troubleshoots any issues before they become problems. She’s also provided us with very helpful introductions to contractors and other resources.
Karol was very helpful in our search to find our dream home in the Keys.
After we told her what we were looking for she did her homework and narrowed our search to a select few homes. She was very honest in her opinions of any of the homes we looked at. At no time did we ever feel “pressured” to buy. Whenever we had questions concerning taxes, insurance, comparables, etc., she returned our phone calls and emails in a very timely manner (even late at night or on weekends). Karol also volunteered to get us quotes on termite tenting, landscaping and other miscellaneous home repairs that needed to be done. This was extremely helpful to us since we live in North Dakota. Prior to closing I bought two kayaks and asked Karol if she knew somewhere we could store them until we closed on the house. Without hesitating she said, “You can store them at my house.” After the closing she delivered the kayaks to our house! She even stocked the refrigerator with breakfast items before we arrived at the house for the first time. Unlike most Realtors, she didn’t forget about us once the sale was completed. She has stopped by the house a couple of times to make sure everything was ok and volunteered to help in any way. We have been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years and have never been more impressed with the service we received. Karol was an absolute pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend her!
Karol’s patience and thorough understanding of the market allowed me to secure my rental property in the Keys.
Living in California, I had considered buying in Florida for years and had worked with a number of agents during that time. She carefully researched listings meeting the specific criteria we'd outlined. As we looked at them and responded, she quickly understood our priorities and preferences. Based on her insights, we then looked at properties that did not meet our initial explicit criteria but had relevant compensating factors. It was one of those homes that we ultimately purchased. Karol also introduced us to a number of service people in the community to help with work that we need to do and preparations for moving. In addition to being bright, thoughtful, responsive and competent, she is easy going and delightful. Buying a new house with Karol is the best experience it can be!
Karol made the sale of our condo so easy.
She kept us informed all along the way, followed up on every lead and responded to all of our questions quickly. She and Dominic did a great job staging the condo and then marketing it with beautiful pictures and video. We have bought and sold a number of properties over the years and we have never had the process go so smoothly. We would highly recommend Karol and Dom!
When I was looking for a home in Key Largo, I called a friend and asked for a reference for a good realtor and he immediately recommended Karol.
It turned out to be one of the greatest references I have ever received. Karol worked with me to assemble a list of possible houses to consider and then set up her schedule so we could visit them all in two days. It was clear that she was truly interested in finding the right home for me, not the most expensive one. She asked tons of questions so she could understand what would suit me best. But what has really amazed me is all the work she has done after the sale. It’s been almost two years since I bought the house and she is still willing to assist me with anything and everything that comes up. All I need to do is call her and she still happily comes over to visit and assist me with whatever I need. It has been truly a blessing to have found Karol and to have been able to work with her over these last two years. Karol is the best. We really didn’t know where to begin. After much searching online and visiting many realtor sites, we selected Karol Marsden to contact. WOW… did we luck out!! Karol not only was prompt to respond, but very thorough… efficient… caring… honest… enjoyable… and knowledgeable… just to name a few important qualities. We are now very happy owners of a Key largo home and feel very welcome in the neighborhood… all thanks to Karol. She guided us from the beginning to the closing, and everything else in between.
